Last year my husband and I took our first long vacation to New Jersey where I was born and raised, and we visited family and close friends. Last year we were also up there to celebrate one of my best friends 40th birthday’s. So less than a year later I was up just a week before her birthday to celebrate the birth of her firstborn Emma Claire, who was promptly nicknamed E-Claire. She can blame that on her Aunt Noelle! 🙂
It was a perfect 4 days that I had to spend with Trish and Emma Claire. So of course I packed my car full of props so I could capture newborn pictures. E-Claire did a great job of posing and we were able to capture her in her mom’s West Virginia University colors while she was sleeping. I have a yellow tutu for the next time I’m up there. I’m sure she will have lots of WVU attire to pair with it.
I also captured her with all of her animal siblings. She has a very protective sister in Pasha and Stryker is a very protective big brother as well. Here’s Pasha giving kisses! 🙂
Here are some other images I captured outside of Stryker and Pasha. They are the most beautiful shepherds I know and they are actually sister and brother, from different litters, but they have the same mom and dad.
Here is Patton, who normally stays up on his shelf in the bedroom where the dogs can’t reach him. But since the dogs refused to leave the room that Trish and E-Claire were in, he got off of his shelf and was playful as I captured some images of him. He is a 27 lb cat but he fit on the chair.
It was really special to capture some of E-Claire with her daddy loving on her. It was the perfect time to visit as the following week John’s father passed away. I’m so glad that He will always have pictures of the first weeks with his little girl. And I plan to be around for many more pictures of them together. And I was thrilled to hear that they were able to get a few pictures of her with her grandpa. That will be a wonderful memory.
Trish wanted to be sure we captured some images of her on her daddy’s uniform as John now serves in the Air Force reserves. I’m not sure if Emma will follow in dad’s footsteps, with this face, but she is going to grow up and be whatever she wants to be! And she’ll be great at it. I just know.
I loved every minute of my visit and I can’t wait to see them again and capture more pictures of E-Claire as she grows up! And thank you Trish, spending time with you was wonderful and I can’t wait to see you next time! Thanks for sending me the picture last week. Love and miss you girl!
