Last fall Noelle Bell Photography
had the opportunity to take Megan Butler’s senior pictures. Megan will be graduating this year from Hardin Valley Academy and has told me that her dream is to work with newborns in the neonatal unit. Neonatal nursing requires a high degree of skill, dedication and emotional strength as these nurses care for newborn infants with a range of problems. Megan has such a caring heart and it was a honor to be able to capture her senior portraits and help celebrate this milestone in her life.
For her session, we went to a barn owned by one of my friends in Maryville, TN. It was a beautiful location and we had great weather. Megan’s senior pictures were never boring because she often changed it up with different tops which added quite a bit of variety for the album we were creating. I love it when clients add in a personal touch by including their pets. Her little dog Tango was teeny tiny but oh so adorable. Sometimes taking pictures of animals are “ruff” but it is always worth it in the end.
One unforgettable experience in working with this family was that Megan’s father wrote her a special letter from “dad” which would be used for the back page in her album. Her mother had done the same thing for Megan’s older brother. This is something so special that Megan will get to keep with her the rest of her life. This was such a senior portrait experience and I was privileged they asked me to create it.
