This senior session was dear to my heart because I grew up with Drew’s mom, and they are family to me. It was wonderful to catch up with Tonja. We had lots of holidays and fun times together throughout our childhood and we even went to the same college. We met up in Lynchburg, VA where my parents now live and the home of our alumni, Liberty University. Lynchburg seemed like the perfect place to meet up as it was only a few hours from their home in NC and mine in TN.
The senior session started in my parent’s garage against a white wall for some black and white images and a few nice images of him in his jeans and jacket.
We proceeded to head to downtown Lynchburg to take more senior photos. We also captured some images around and at Amazement Square.
Drew now owns a motorcycle and wanted to capture some images with that as well for his senior pictures. Since they brought the motorcycle we headed over to Camp Hydaway, which was my neighbor for about 5 years after I graduated college. The employees were gracious enough to use the space even though it was not in season. A big thank you to the staff for letting us use the space.
Today is the day Drew heads off to boot camp for the Army! Thank you for making the honorable choice to serve your country. Best of luck to you Drew, it was an honor for me to capture your senior pictures.
