Did someone say Spring in February?

It’s always fun to capture the beauty of downtown knoxville in the background of portraits, and this February was no different!  I was contacted by Kelly, from the windy city of Chicago, about having senior portraits done with her daughter Maddie who will be starting at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, college of Nursing in the fall of 2020.  She wanted to wait until they knew where Maddie was going for college and decided to schedule senior portraits with her daughter in that city.  So she found Noelle Bell Photography and I am so glad that we connected!

The Friday before they arrived I called Kelly to let her know that we were going to be having a very wet week and though I don’t photograph on the weekend, I made an exception with a 100% chance of rain for our shoot day with their small window of being here in Knoxville.  We arranged to meet on Sunday where for the first day in 3 days we had sunshine and beautiful warm spring weather!

Not only did we have fun traipsing about in downtown Knoxville capturing Maddie’s senior portraits, but we found some flowers in bloom!  It hardly looked like it was winter.  It looked more like a beautiful spring day.  Here is a sneak peek of Maddie’s senior portraits.  I look forward to sharing more later!
