Most Memorable Images of 2013, Noelle Bell Photography, Knoxville TN

This year has been great!  Stellar, a year of stretching and growing and pushing myself as well as taking risks that has come to a very fast finish!  From a busy high school senior portrait session to the beginning of my pet portrait photography line.  From 8th grade portraits sessions to beautiful families in the fall season, to beautiful weddings and bridal portraits.   Here are some of my absolutely favorite images from 2013.   And just in case you are counting, I went over 20 images, but I just couldn’t narrow it down more than this.

From all of us here at Noelle Bell Photography we wish you all the best in 2014!

Happy New Year!!

Emma Claire Newborn Session, New Jersey, Noelle Bell Photography

Last year my husband and I took our first long vacation to New Jersey where I was born and raised, and we visited family and close friends.  Last year we were also up there to celebrate one of my best friends 40th birthday’s.  So less than a year later I was up just a week before her birthday to celebrate the birth of her firstborn Emma Claire, who was promptly nicknamed E-Claire.   She can blame that on her Aunt Noelle!   🙂

It was a perfect 4 days that I had to spend with Trish and Emma Claire.  So of course I packed my car full of props so I could capture newborn pictures.   E-Claire did a great job of posing and we were able to capture her in her mom’s West Virginia University colors while she was sleeping.  I have a yellow tutu for the next time I’m up there.   I’m sure she will have lots of WVU attire to pair with it.

I also captured her with all of her animal siblings.  She has a very protective sister in Pasha and Stryker is a very protective big brother as well.  Here’s Pasha giving kisses!  🙂

Here are some other images I captured outside of Stryker and Pasha.  They are the most beautiful shepherds I know and they are actually sister and brother, from different litters, but they have the same mom and dad.

Here is Patton, who normally stays up on his shelf in the bedroom where the dogs can’t reach him.  But since the dogs refused to leave the room that Trish and E-Claire were in, he got off of his shelf and was playful as I captured some images of him.  He is a 27 lb cat but he fit on the chair.

It was really special to capture some of E-Claire with her daddy loving on her.  It was the perfect time to visit as the following week John’s father passed away.  I’m so glad that He will always have pictures of the first weeks with his little girl.  And I plan to be around for many more pictures of them together.  And I was thrilled to hear that they were able to get a few pictures of her with her grandpa.  That will be a wonderful memory.

My dear friend Becky Berry had a little baby girl just a few weeks ago, although it’s hard to believe that she is almost two months old!  My how time flies.  We had a chance to see her a few days after she came home and so we stopped by for a short visit and what a precious little baby girl they have!  A full head of hair, beautiful eyes…when she wasn’t sleeping, and when I got to hold her she slept in my arms for quite awhile!  Oh, she smelled sweet and that full head of hair…wow!  (I didn’t have that much hair until I was about 2!)  We had a nice visit with them and of course I had my camera, so I captured just a few pictures of her.  This one of mom and daughter was my absolute favorite!!

I am looking forward to my next visit with them and seeing just how much she has grown!

Until next time…

Childrens Photographer, Bella turns 1

This last year I have been capturing images of little Bella as she has grown and my how she has grown in the last few months!  She took her first two steps at her 10 month session here and now her legs don’t slow her down one bit!  This was a fast paced session and keeping her in one place was not super easy!!  It was fun though, and we got some great images!

Here is a sneak peek of Bella enjoying, as only kids can, a cake to commemorate the day!

Love you little Bella!!  This image is priceless.

Until next time…

What a wonderful session we had in the studio with Miss Bella who is 10 months old and is now standing on her own two feet, and yesterday in the studio she even took a few tiny steps for the first time!!  What a moment!  They were little steps, followed by a plunge forward towards mom, but monumental nonetheless!  Soon mom and dad are going to be hard pressed to keep up with her.

The session was so much fun since it was in the studio and we didn’t have to worry about the weather.  Bella’s 1 year session will be just around the corner, complete with a cake for smashing and eating!   This session was fun with Bella crawling all over, dumping the easter eggs out of the bowl (for some reason the eggs were not good to be kept in a bowl but to be knocked all over the room).  She was very curious about my camera and all things food.  I don’t think we have had a session yet where we haven’t had to stop to eat!   I know this walking thing takes energy though, so I’m sure that is why the need for muchies was apparent!  🙂

Here is one of my favorite images of her.   I love the curious look in her eyes, the red hair that is just so beautiful and the mid-sentence conversation that she was having with us, though we knew not what she was saying.

So here she is America, Miss Bella is creeping closer and closer to her landmark birthday that marks the first year of her birth!  It has been a joy to see her grow and I look forward to seeing her celebrate on her first birthday in just a few months.  More images will be posted later, as picking one was hard, but I just loved her eyes in this one!  Kisses to you Bella.

Until next time….

Innocence

One more sneak peek from the 4 month photo shoot just two weeks ago at the UT Gardens!  This innocent expression captures the heart of little Bella more than you know.  Her red hair is really that red, if not more!  I love the innocence of children and this image captured just that.

Oh, and I finally got my logo stamped on my images.  I look forward to using it from now on.

Bella

What a wonderful session we had with miss Bella yesterday!  It was a gorgeous day, beautiful light and we soon had a happy baby on our hands!!  🙂  Bella had eaten before she got there, but decided she needed second dinner before she would smile for the camera!  She is starting to get curious about things and and she looked so darling surrounded by all the purple and later the pink.  I always bring things with me on my shoot, but nothing made her more happy than the pink and purple boa’s!!  Daddy will soon be on the hunt for a new present for his daughter…a little “Diva” in her own right.  She had her own little bracelet and her own matching bows!!  And oh that red hair!!  I wish I could have played with her the whole time instead of taking her pictures, but she was so adorable in that little dress!!

So here is a sneak peek and soon I’ll have more edits up for you to see.  If you are planning on a family shoot this fall, let me know as the leaves are just starting to peak, so in a few weeks it will be prime time to get those sessions in before it is gone for the year and the snow comes!  Okay, so maybe I’m dreaming of the snow, but I would love to see it come down white and beautiful this winter. But that is for another day!

Until next time….here’s Miss Bella!

Master Caleb

On Sunday I had the joy of photographing two good friends and their now 6 month old son at the UT gardens!  It was a beautiful afternoon after the rain on Saturday and a great morning of sun which dried up most everything except for a few areas in the gardens.  JanaRae and David wanted family pictures as well as some pictures of Caleb, so we had a lot of fun!  I have so many still to work through, but that will take time.  For now, here is a sneak peek of this handsome boy and yes, the ladies will need to watch out in just a few years.  If his eyes keep to this beautiful blue then everyone will get lost in them!  Caleb had a great smile for me every time!  I think he must get that from his parents!  If you want to see more pictures, check out the album on Facebook.

New Arrival – Henry Best

A week ago I had the joy of photographing my friends little boy just a few weeks after he arrived into this world!!  What an adorable baby boy he was!!  Even now as I’m working on the images, I have such a hard time editing because he is such a cutie pie.  He will be a heartbreaker for sure as he grows up!  He slept for a little while, and was awake for some of the shoot.  We did find that the monkey mobile that played music was soothing and helped to put him to sleep.  He has such a great room that we really got some amazing pictures with the great light coming in the windows.

Here are a few sneak peeks of the most adorable Henry Best!

I hope you enjoy them!!  Sarah and Jason, you made a beautiful baby boy!  I can’t wait to see him grow.
