It has been a busy season and I know I have posted some of my favorites’s from Mark and April’s engagement session back in May, before their wedding on June 1st. I’m getting ready to deliver their wedding album to them and I realized I never posted a wedding post, so I’ll follow up this with a wedding and a wedding album post.
So here are some of my favorite images from their engagement session! And to Mark and April, happy 6 month anniversary! Have a wonderful holiday season as husband and wife.
So to a couple who truly waited and prayed for the right man and woman to come into their lives, it was a joy to share your journey from engagement to marriage. May God bless you as you celebrate the season of the birth of His Son, the true meaning of this holiday season.
Here is part II of my blog post of Amber and Aaron’s wedding pictures. Second shooting the wedding with KadeesApproach Photography was a lot of fun, and she did a beautiful job. It was a pleasure to assist her and I hope to work with her again in the future.
Here is the second set of collaged images from Amber and Aaron’s wedding. What a stunning couple! I had fun photographing the men and getting some fun interaction with them. And Allandale was a gorgeous location for their wedding and reception.
The small accents made a very simplistic and beautiful backdrop for the ceremony.
From the cowboy boots that all the attendants wore to the wedding flowers to the rings, all the details made for a simply elegant wedding day for Amber and Aaron, who just were stars for the camera!
One of the sweetest and funniest parts of the day was during the toast, when Amber’s matron of honor read an amazing poem all written in basketball language, with marriage advise in it….so amazing it brought me to tears, and the best man’s story of how he had originally told Aaron that Amber was out of his league (years earlier) only to share in their joy and see the proof of how they were a perfect match.
And for the final goodbye, Amber and Aaron left the ceremony in a sea of bubbles to float away to their honeymoon!
May God bless you both as you begin this new journey together!! Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day, and Kadee thank you for the privilege of working with you.
Until next time…
About a month ago, I had the opportunity to second shoot a wedding with Kadee Fillers of Kadees Approach Photography. She was a joy to work with and the bride and the groom for the wedding were just as cute as can be! It seems as if they had been cut out of a magazine they were such a beautiful couple.
Amber was a stunning bride and after meeting up with Kadee at the The Carnegie in Johnson City where Amber was getting ready with her bridesmaids, I went on to Allandale to photograph Aaron, the groom, with his groomsmen. The suite at the Carnegie was beautiful and Amber was such a stunning bride, and very relaxed. You could see in her face the anticipation of seeing her beloved and joining their lives as one!
Here are some images of Amber getting ready, she had such a great smile!
And here are a few more from the getting ready and a few wedding details. Note the cowboy boots, which were my favorite detail of the day! I wished I had worn mine, but they just didn’t match my attire.
I’ll have a few more images ready to showcase in just a few days that will include the guys and the rest of the wedding day. It was hard to choose just a few images to post as Amber and Aaron looked great in every one, but I finally narrowed it down to my favorites!
So tune in to Part II of this post on Thursday.
Until then….have a wonderful week and stay cool!
A few weeks ago I received the most amazing thank you note and letter of recommendation from Stacie Johnson. It was coming up on the anniversary of their wedding and I was planning for not only a bridal show but also an update to my website and she was one of the people I had asked for their a recommendation that I could use on my website.
What I didn’t expect was to get a letter that brought tears to my eyes.
“When we chose Noelle to capture our wedding day, we had no idea that we would begin with a talented photographer and end with a friend. From the beginning she took the time to not only learn what shots we wanted for the big day, but she also learned about us personally. We wanted to see the emotion and relationships come through in our photos and she worked tirelessly to capture the feel and depth of this season of our lives.
We began with a wonderfully fun day for our engagement pictures. She came prepared to tailor make our shots, highlighting those special little moments that remind us of all that we share in our marriage. We love to dance and read together and Noelle found unique ways to use these things to capture our image and our heart.
Our wedding day itself could not have been more perfect. Noelle showed professionalism, integrity and amazing skill in reproducing the day on film. Our photos actually looked like they came from a magazine, but still retained the personal touch of the warmth of family and friends. We could not love our prints, canvas, and album any more! Her work is just amazing!
More than anything, we have so appreciated how excited she has been for us. Her generosity and warmth were a great relief to what otherwise could have been an overwhelming time in our lives. You can’t go wrong with her on your wedding and her work for years to come.”
Thank you so much To you both, your wedding experience was such a pleasure to cover, and your friendship is a treasured and unexpected blessing. May God richly bless you both in your marriage and I hope that reading the letters you wrote to each other was a sweet memory of the day you became man and wife just one year ago.
Stacie and Andy’s wedding was beautiful, lovely, amazing and lined with some wonderful humorous moments! Here are two of those funny moments from my perspective, and trust me it was hard to hold the camera steady.
The first moment came when Stacie was inside with the girls, writing her letter to Andy and relaxing. Meanwhile, we were outside the church capturing images of Andy and his groomsmen. We had captured most of them when Andy requested we recreate a photo that had taken place at many of the weddings he had been in with some of his groomsmen. You know, the one where all the groomsmen are holding the groom parallel to the ground. He wanted to have the same image here at his wedding. Here are some of the “attempts” at “CATCHING” that image….enjoy!
I promise, they never dropped him!
The second favorite story was in the limo on the way to the reception. Andy and Stacie had asked me to ride with them in the limo to capture some of those moments of that trip. So on the the way to the reception, there was laughter, but mostly joy and happiness between Stacie and Andy and an incredible sense of relief. The wedding was over and they were finally man and wife! The nerves were gone and left was incredible happiness! So after some beautiful quiet moments to themselves….
they talked about the wedding and some of the moments they remembered. Then as we pulled through downtown Knoxville, Andy rolled down his window and started waving to people and then he began yelling out the window that he just got married!! These pictures tell the story….but much laughter was to be had as they pulled into the Marriott for the reception.
So that’s all for me today….if you have some funny memories to share, please do so in the comments below, as I’m sure Stacie and Andy would love to hear it from your perspective!!
Happy Anniversary Stacie and Andy! May your next year be even more wonderful.
Until next time…
Today I’m so excited to finally have in my hands the wedding album of Stacie and Andy Johnson!! 🙂 It came yesterday and I couldn’t be more pleased with how it looks!! Stacie and Andy have seen the pages, and will pick it up this Friday to keep, but here is a sneak peek of a few of the pages, and what the cover looks like for both them and the parents album. This album was so much fun to put together and I can’t wait to see how much Stacie and Andy love it when they see it for themselves!!
Here is the cover of both their 9×14 album and their parents 8×12 album
Here is one of the classic images we captured for a standalone page. The image is beautiful of Stacie and is on display in a 24×38 canvas at the Downtown Marriott.
And one of the pages from the ceremony.
And one page from the reception
And one from their after shoot in the florists gardens
So thanks to a wonderful album company, Album Epoca, for a beautiful album, and a quick turnaround, and thank you Stacie and Andy, for the privelege of sharing your special day with you as well as the friendship we all now share!! May your first year as a couple continue to be as wonderful as the two of you are!! Happy 8 months of marriage (plus a few weeks)!! Only 3 1/2 months until you can read those beautiful letters that you wrote to each other on your wedding day, and still you have Christmas and Valentine’s day before that! It will be a year before you know it, so hold on to each other and laugh often.
Until next time…
