Noelle Bell Photography had the chance to take college graduation photos for a young man who drove up from Alabama for this shoot. Jason was a pleasure to work with and was such a team player. Speaking of team players, he looks a bit like a well known team player from these parts, Peyton Manning. Anyone else think so?
We started the shoot in the studio with formal attire as mom wanted a portrait for the wall in her home to match her other graduates. After that was accomplished, we were able to capture some nice business casual images for a LinkedIn profile picture that Jason wanted.
We moved from the studio to downtown Knoxville. Heads kept turning at the sight of the shoot, so apparently we are not the only people who thought he looked a bit like a celebrity. (Of course it could have been the fact that he was in a short sleeve shirt in 40 degree temperatures too!)
Even though we were all a little chilly, we kept pushing forward. I did have to stop at Starbucks to get a cup of hot water to warm my assistant’s hands. I then proceeded to take a drink and burned my mouth. Owwhhhh! All part of the adventure of doing photo shoots outside because you never can predict what you will encounter. It was a pleasure to capture Jason’s portraits.
It’s sunny, mid 70’s with a warm breeze blowing and my toes are in the sand. Mind you it wasn’t a long time, but long enough to capture some amazing images with Savannah right near sunset at the beach in Sandestin, FL. Who would not want to have senior pictures done on the beach and choose such a stunning location for them? So okay it’s not at all bad having my toes in the sand, but this trip is all about getting my learn on with an amazing group of senior portrait photographers from around the globe. Some I’ve known for years and others are new friends.
Here is my favorite image of Savannah from our shoot on the beach right close to sunset. And bonus, she’s a ROLL TIDE girl! Go Bama

Recently, I had the wonderful opportunity to take senior pictures for one of my former students at Thursday Connection. When I met Nate, he was a freshman, and now he is about to graduate and head to NJ for college. We took a few cap and gown images for his mom, but after taking the “serious” photos, we had a bit of fun in the studio.
His shoot included a leather jacket and a cool pair of shades. We captured some awesome model shots in black and white.
The photos turned out great and it was a blast. It’s been fun to watch you grow up these last few years Nate. I wish you all the best of luck as you pursue a degree in health science and nutrition and then move on to becoming a nutritionalist to help kids who struggle with diabetes.
